Jindal Steel Ltd has emerged as the highest bidder in the Thakurani-A1 iron ore mine block auction, offering a premium of 101.20%. The block, of around 202.781 Ha, is located in the Keonjhar district of Odisha and has geological resources of 50.532 mnt. The mine comprises deposits of average-grade Fe 40.066-60.256%.
