India: JSPL raises coil, plate prices by up to INR 1,500/t for end-Jan’22 sales

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) has recently pushed up list prices of coils and plates for end-Jan’22 sales, SteelMint learnt from sources. Effective prices:

• For coils, the steel major has raised prices by INR 1,500/t ($20/t) to INR 63,000-63,500/t ($839-846/t) ex-Raigarh.
• Plates prices are at INR 65,000-65,500/t ($866-872/t), up INR 1,000/t ($13/t) on ex-Angul basis.

The prices mentioned exclude GST at 18%.
