India: JSPL increases list prices of HR plates, coils by INR 2,000/t ($24) for early Jan’23

Indian private steel major, Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL), has increased list prices of HR plates and hot-rolled coils (HRCs) by INR 2,000/t ($24/t) with effect from 1 January 2023. Effective prices:

• HR Plate (E250, 20-40mm): INR 64,500/t ($779/t)
• HRCs (IS2062, 2.5-8mm): INR 57,500/t ($694/t)
• Prices are exy-Mumbai, exclusive of GST at 18%.
