India: JSPL increases HR plate, coil prices by INR 1,000/t ($12/t) for early-Oct’22

Indian private steel major Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) has increased list prices of HR plates and hot-rolled coils (HRCs) by INR 1,000/t ($12/t) for early October with effect from today. Effective prices-

• HR Plate (E250, 20-40mm): INR 64,000/t ($785/t)
• HRC (IS2062, 2.5-8mm): INR 58,000/t ($711/t)
• Prices are on exy-Mumbai basis, exclusive of GST at 18%.
