India: JSPL hikes rebar prices by up to INR 2,500 ($34) in Jan’21

JSPL – one of the major steel producers in India, has increased rebar prices by around INR 2,500/t ($34/t). Current offer for 12-32 mm rebar (550 D) is assessed at INR 56,000/t, FoR- Mumbai, excluding GST, SteelMint learned from trade sources. The company’s total output of long steel products stood at 2.07 mn t in Jan-Nov ’20.
