India: JSPL hikes long steel prices by up to INR 3,000/t ($40/t)

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. (JSPL) has raised list prices of rebar by INR 3,000/t ($40/t) and INR 2,000/t ($26/t) for wire rods for Mar’22 sales, sources informed SteelMint. Effective prices:

• Rebar: INR 66,000-66,500/t ($877-878/t)
• Wire rods: INR 65,500-66,000/t ($865-872/t)
• Prices mentioned are delivered-Delhi basis, excluding GST at 18%.
