India: JSPL hikes list prices of rebar, wire rod for mid-July sales

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) has increased list prices of rebar and wire rod by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) from today because of improved domestic demand and healthy order books, sources informed SteelMint. Effective prices:

• Rebar (12-32mm, IS1786): INR 59,000-59,500/t ($743-749/t)
• Wire rod (5.5-6mm, SAE1008): INR 61,000/t ($768/t)
• Prices mentioned are on delivered Delhi basis, excluding GST at 18%.
