India: JK Lakshmi Cement reports 8% y-o-y sales growth

JK Lakshmi Cement reported 8.2% y-o-y growth in cement sales volume to 3.59 mnt in Q1FY27 from 3.32 mnt a year earlier, supported by higher dispatches. The company continued progressing its Durg expansion project, which will add 2.3 mnt/year clinker and 4.6 mnt/year grinding capacity by March 2028. It also increased renewable power usage to 49% and advanced railway siding infrastructure to enhance logistics efficiency and support future capacity growth.
