Jindal SAW has increased pellet (Fe63%) offers by INR 400/t ($5/t) to INR 11,600/t ($139/t) DAP Kandla on 19 Apr’24; however, the pellet maker has taken a maintenance shutdown till 21 Apr. Iron ore (Fe62%) fines spot prices increased by $9/t w-o-w to $118/t CFR China on 17 Apr amid positive economic policies. Notably, finished steel prices have increased by around INR 2,100/t ($25/t) w-o-w in the Gujarat region.
