Jindal SAW raised pellet offers over hike in lump premium which made imported lump costlier. Presently it should be around USD 80-85/MT, CFR India. Current offers for Fe 63% pellets are at INR 6000/MT delivered Kandla up INR 350/MT.
A growth of 88% was observed over lump premium prices that were in the beginning of the month as it stood at USD 0.2185/DMTU against USD 0.1165/DMTU in the first week of Jun’17.
JSPL Offers for Domestic Market Unchanged: JSPL have kept pellet offers unchanged which were at INR 4100/MT (loaded to wagons).
As per trade sources report to SteelMint, though some manufacturers raised offers by INR 100-200/MT to cash on the higher international prices, the markets in west and central part of the country were mostly stable without any noticeable activity. However in south India pellet offers were down by INR 150/MT W-o-W due to feeble demand.
