Western India-based – Jindal SAW Ltd has increased its pellet offer by INR 450/t w-o-w. The current offer for Fe 63% grade pellets stands at INR 15,200/t DAP Kandla, SteelMint learned from sources. However, no bookings have been made at the increased offer. Hike in pellet offers in other markets along with an increase in global iron ore prices has resulted in a hike in pellet offers. The company has a pellet plant of capacity 1.2 mn t pa in Bhilwara and is a key source of raw material to Gujarat-based plants.
