Jindal Ferrous Limited (JFL) successfully carried out the blow-in of its blast furnace at the Jajpur facility in Odisha on 11 March, with operations commencing on 13 March. The unit will produce hot rolled coil (HRC) slabs and pig iron, strengthening the company’s iron-making capabilities. The commissioning is expected to support JF’s expansion plans and improve raw material integration for its downstream castings and steel businesses.
