About 3,200 t of billet deals were concluded at around INR 41,700-800/t exw-Ramgarh (Jharkhand) for Mandi Gobindgarh in Punjab, equivalent to INR 44,200/t delivered to Mandi (on advance payment terms).
However, producers later increased prices and offers were floated at around INR 42,000/t exw.
Due to rise in prices in the northern region, billet prices across locations are finding support, as sufficient orders have been received by suppliers.
