India: Jharkhand mills conclude over 5,000 t of billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand mills concluded over 1,700 t of billets deals in a price range of INR 44,600-44,700/t exw-Ramgarh.
2,200 t of P-DRI and 1,100 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 28,800-29,000/t and INR 31,600-31,700/t exw respectively.
Spot trade volumes rose significantly d-o-d on improved buying enquiries. Prices, however, fell by up to INR 400/t.
