India: Jharkhand mills conclude 6,500 t billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills sold around 2,500 t of billets at a price range of INR 48,500-48,700/t exw-Ramgarh.
Moreover, 1,800 t of P-DRI and 2,200 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 33,300-33,500/t and INR 35,300-35,500/t exw-Ramgarh respectively.
Trades improved marginally during the first half of the day following the hike in semis offers in northern India and nearby regions. However, in the latter half, buying enquiries slowed down due to higher offers.
