India: Jharkhand mills conclude 6,100 t of billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based mills concluded 2,600 t of billets deals at INR 43,800-44,000/t exw-Ramgarh.
2,400 t of P-DRI and 1,100 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 29,700-29,800/t and INR 32,200-32,300/t exw respectively.
The market remained supported and active trade has been noticed following a demand recovery in finished steel. Sources expect that semis prices would remain supported amid fluctuating raw pellets and coal prices.
