India: Jharkhand mills conclude 4,500 t billet, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills concluded 1,700 t of billet deals in a price range of INR 41,500-41,900/t exw Ramgarh.
2,200 t of P-DRI and 600 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 28,400-28,500/t and INR 30,900-31,200/t exw Ramgarh, respectively.
Local trading seemed active amid unclear market trends, whereas transactions outside Jharkhand remained inactive as participants lost buying confidence on frequent price variation.
