India: Jharkhand mills conclude 3,600 t billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills concluded 1,100 t of billets deals in a price range of INR 44,200-44,600/t exw-Ramgarh.
1,700 t of P-DRI and 800 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 29,400-29,700/t and INR 31,800-32,100/t exw-Ramgarh, respectively.
An unpredictable price movement led buyers to hold procurements for a while. Hence, dull trading was noticed in the region. Stakeholders are hoping for stability in prices, soon.
