India: Jharkhand mills conclude 3,600 t billet, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills concluded 1,600 t of billets deals in a price range of INR 44,000-44,400/t exw Ramgarh.
1,200 t of P-DRI and 800 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 28,300-28,500/t and INR 31,000-31,200/t exw Ramgarh, respectively.
Buyers remained quite due to sluggish demand which caused low buying enquiries in the market. Thus, sellers had to lower semis offers.
