Raipur-based pellet makers recently raised their offers for iron ore Fe 63% (+/_0.5%) by INR 500/t ($6/t) to INR 10,400-10,500/t ($124-125/t) exw, following a corresponding hike by Odisha-based producers. GPIL has opened pellet offers for Fe 63% and Fe 65% grades at INR 11,000/t ($131/t) and INR 12,200/t ($145/t) exw respectively. In the latest iron ore auction from the OMC, bid premiums increased by over INR 1,000/t ($12/t) m-o-m.
