India: Iron ore concentrate prices remain stable as sellers maintain firm offers

  • India’s Fe 63% iron ore concentrate prices were stable at INR 4,900/t ($57/t) exw-Jabalpur, against the last assessment on 4 Jun’25. A deal of 5,000 t was recorded.
  • Sellers remained firm at their offers despite NMDC price cut, volatility in the pellet, sponge iron, and steel markets, driven by active pre-monsoon restocking and expectations that prices may decline during the monsoon due to reduced production.
