India: IOCL raises pet coke prices for May’24

IOC, the second largest pet coke producer and market leader by domestic sales, has increased price of pet coke in this month with effect from 8 May 2024.

IOC has revised pet coke prices at Koyali for road supplies to INR 11630/t against last price of INR 11530/t. Thus, the price has increased by INR 100/T. Price for rake loading has also increased by INR 100/t to INR 11430/t over the last price of INR 11330/T.

Pet coke prices at Panipat, for general states, has been revised to INR 12740/t from INR 12640/t, indicating an increase of INR 100/t. Prices for Punjab, Haryana, J&K, Chandigarh is maintained same as general states.

Pet coke price for road supplies at Paradip is revised to INR 10,780/t which was INR 10,680/t in the last month, indicating an increase of INR 100/t in the price. The price for rake supply is also increased by INR 100/t to INR 10580/t from INR 10480/t.

Pet coke prices ex Haldia for road supply, is revised to INR 10,950/t from INR 10850/t, indicating an increase by INR 100/t. The price for rake supply has also increased by INR 100/t to INR 10,750/t from INR 10,650/t.

Export to Nepal & Bhutan: Pet coke export prices from Panipat have been revised to INR 12740/t from INR 12,640/t, indicating an increase of INR 100/T. At Paradip, export pricse increased by INR 100/t to INR 12,280/t for both road and rail. At Haldia, export prices increased by INR 100/t to INR 12,150/t for both road and rail. Notably the export price is same as domestic price at Panipat but it is higher by INR 1,500/t at Paradip and INR 1,200/t at Haldia. Notably, export price by rake from Paradip and Haldia is the same as the road price.
