In a confirmed deal, an Apr’22-loading cargo of Indonesian 5300 kcal/kg NAR coal has been sold at $154/t FOB. Amid the tight availability of domestic coal, the non-power sector in India have shifted back to procuring high-priced imported coal. However, a sharp decline in Chinese procurement from Indonesia has capped any major increase in prices compared to coals of other origins.
