A deal for 3,000 t of Indonesian 5100 GAR grade coal was confirmed at INR 10,800/t ex-Vizag. Portside prices for the grade have increased by INR 1,000-1,200/t in one month. The profit margins of rolling mills, key consumers of this grade, are under pressure. Mills are operating at reduced capacities amid high raw materials costs. Imported offers for 5000 GAR Indonesian coal are at $115-116/t FOB.
