In a confirmed deal, 2000 t of Indonesian 5100 kcal/kg GAR grade coal was sold at INR 13,600/t at Vizag Port. Amid limited availability of domestic coal, demand for imported coal remained higher among end-users. However, rising raw material prices continue to compel these units to procure small parcel trades. Indonesian 5000 kcal/kg GAR prices were at $142/t FOB as on 6 May.
