In a confirmed deal, a gearless panamax vessel with Indonesian 4200 kcal/kg GAR grade thermal coal has been sold at $91.5/t FOB for May loading. This marks a $4/t premium over the latest Indonesian coal index released on 14 April. Indonesian miners held stock amid limited cargo availability and weak domestic output. Indian demand gained strength with tight domestic supply conditions.
