South African iron ore lump (Fe 64%) import offers declined by $7.5/t w-o-w to $103/t CNF Kandla on 4 Sep’24. Prices fell following a w-o-w drop in spot and futures prices of iron ore fines. Inquiries remained few even after prices dropped due to competitive pellet offers in Gujarat. Global iron ore fines (Fe 62%) prices also decreased by $8/t w-o-w to $93/t CFR-China on 3 Sep.
