Scrap
prices across the country more or less remains at same level or marginally down
by Rs 100-200/t. Mumbai based trader reported that domestic scrap prices
remain firm at Rs.22500/MT (prices are basic, ED & taxes extra) post
budget.
Imported
scrap prices also remain the same for both HMS 1&2 and shredded material.
Current offers for US/Europe origin HMS I & II (80:20) grade scrap lies in
between $400-405/MT CFR Nhava Sheva and shredded scrap import offers from
UK/Europe are at $420/MT CFR Nhava Sheva.
HMS
1&2 prices for Alang now stands at Rs.22900/MT (prices are basic, ED &
taxes extra) and same grade material from Kolkata stands in between
Rs.26800-900/MT (Incl. all).
