India: Imported scrap offers fall on lower bids

India’s imported scrap market remained lull for yet another week. The fall in domestic scrap prices resulted to a slowdown in imports.
SteelMint’s assessment for shredded scrap stands at $650/t CFR Nhava Sheva, down $5-10/t d-o-d.
Similarly, HMS (80:20) from West Africa-origin stands at $540-550/t CFR Nhava Sheva, a drop of $5/t d-o-d.
