Imported met coke offers to India are currently around $235/t FOB from Indonesia and $225/t FOB from China, with prices declining by $10-15 w-o-w. CIF-based transactions remained absent owing to lesser clarity on import quotas. With competitive import prices, several merchant coke plants are choosing to purchase imported coke rather than produce it.
