India imported 2,97,293 tons of Hot Briquetted Iron
(CHAPTER-7203) on paradeep port from November to till date 11-March 2013,
passed 8-March 53,012 tons Hot Briquetted Iron was imported from Oman at an
average price of Rs 20,192 (Duty and taxes extra)
Similarly
in February a total quantity of 43,975 tons were imported from Malaysia at an
average price of Rs 20,936 (Duty and taxes extra), also in the month of January
52,227 tons were imported from Oman at an average price of Rs 20,759 (Duty and
taxes extra), However in December, quantity of 41,603 tons were imported from
Malaysia at an average price of Rs 20,190 (Duty and taxes extra) and in November
43,500 tons were imported from Oman at an average price of Rs 18,923(Duty and
taxes extra).
