IF-route rebar market remained upbeat with prices climbing by over INR 2,000/t in most major supplying centres. Manufacturers kept offers on the higher side following a surge in raw material (billets and sponge iron) prices. However, trades and transactions remained moderate, varying from region to region and buying enquiries were active.
