IF rebar prices witnessed a correction in the range of INR 200-1,200/t, d-o-d, on 25 Oct’21. Subdued spot demand slowed down transactions. Marginal improvements in semi-finished steel prices during the first half of the day failed to lift rebar prices and demand. Prices in the near term are expected to fluctuate depending on billet price movements, SteelMint learnt from market sources.
