IF rebar prices dropped again in the range of INR 200-1,000/t, d-o-d, in most major markets. However, in a few parts of central and western India, manufacturers held on to their offers, providing trade discounts depending upon buying enquiries and market requirements. Weak demand and spot trades for rebar resulted in accumulation of inventories at mills, thereby putting pressure on prices, sources informed.
