Induction furnace TMT prices increased today by INR 100-600/t. Rising semi-finished steel prices in the major markets and marginal improvement in buying enquiries for re-bar steel have lent support to increasing offers. However, adequate demand and bulk trade volumes are still lacking which indicate that prices in the near term could fluctuate depending on billet price movements, sources reported.
