The domestic prices of rebar manufactured via the induction furnace route dropped marginally by INR 100-300/t d-o-d, as per SteelMint reports. Although in a few markets producers clung on to their offers, overall bearish sentiments amid volatile semi-finished steel prices deterred traders from buying large volumes. Lack of buying enquiries and limited bookings, on the other hand, led to manufacturers offering trade discounts as per market requirements.
