IF grade rebar prices gained on 3 Jun’21, except in a few markets in western and southern India, as per sources. Prices rose by up to INR 700/t d-o-d on sharp hike in raw material costs and marginal recovery in buying interest. However, spot demand is still lacking due to lockdown restrictions in many states. Minor price fluctuations can be expected in the coming days depending on buying inquiries and semi-finished steel prices.
