Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha Limited (IDCOL) floats 3 separate tenders for the sale of Iron ore (CLO & Fines) and High Carbon Ferro Chrome (HCFC) in Odisha.
Bidder should apply with valid license under Odisha Mineral rules, 2007 for participation. (All the document need to clarify for prevention of Theft, Smuggling, illegal mining & regulation of possession, storage, trading & transportation)
Iron ore lease holders are not eligible to participate in this tender. At the time of participation, bidders need to proof for this.
Transportation (by road dispatch) – It shall be arranged by the buyer (Trucks/Tippers) in compliance with the statutory provision applicable to mine.
1. Sale of Iron Ore Fines
Specification:
- Fe: 60%
- Size: 0-5 mm
Quantity: 11,000 ± 10%
Bidders have to quote for entire quantity of 11,000 MT
Bid submission due date: 11.00 hrs IST on 26 Mar, 2014
Technical bid opening date: 12.00 hrs IST on 26 Mar, 2014
Traders/Crusher Units are not allowed to participate in the bid.
The bidders should have their own Sponge iron/Pig iron /steel plant and shall use the ore for manufacturing respective products at their own plant.
2. Sale of Iron ore (CLO)
Specification:
- Fe: 65%
- Size: 5-18 mm
Quantity: 15,200 MT
Bidders have to quote for minimum quantity of 3,800 MT or its multiple.

3. Sale of High Carbon Ferro Chrome (HCFC) moved by road from Jajpur (Odisha)
Specification:
- HCFC Lumps
- Chromium: 57–64%
- Carbon: 6-8% max
- Si: 2%-4%
- Size: 25-150 mm
Quantity: 1,525 MT (approx)
Quantity shall be quoted for minimum 125 MT.
The bidders will quote the price of HCFC in INR/MT Ex-factory (Jajpur road) in the prescribed price bid formats only.
