India: IDCOL Issues 15,800 MT Iron Ore Sales Tender

Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha Limited (IDCOL) has issued three different tenders for tentative sale of 15,800 MT iron ore from its Roida ‘C’ iron and manganese mines, Keonjhar (Odisha).

On 30 Jan’18, IDCOL submitted the penalty amount in the Apex Court over illegal mining case. The Apex court condoned the delay and granted IDCOL permission to operate the mines subject to payment of 12% interest for 11 days.

Validity:
Bids submitted by the bidder shall be valid for the period of 30 days from the last date of price bid opening.
Eligibility criteria:
1)Bidder should have a valid license under Odisha Minerals (prevention of theft, smuggling and illegal mining and regulation of possession. Storage, trading and transportation).
2) Bidder must have GST registration number.
3) Bidder must have the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) registration certificate under rule 45 of MCDR.

Bid submission due date: 09 May’18 at 11:00 hrs IST
Technical bid opening: 09 May’18 at 11:30 hrs IST
Price bid opening: 09 May’18 at 15:00 hrs IST
