India: HZL logs nearly 20% growth in metal production in Q2FY’23

Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL), a Vedanta Group Company, recorded an increase in metal production by 18% y-o-y for the Jul-Sep’22 period. In Q2, the company recorded the highest-ever mined metal production at 255,000 t, up 3% y-o-y, while refined metal production went up 18% y-o-y to reach 246,000 t, driven by better grades and improved mill productivity.
