Rebar manufacturers in Hyderabad, Telangana have increased gauge parity by INR 1,000/t for all sizes, with effect from 12 Oct’21. The gauge parity for 8mm,10mm & 32mm rebar is at INR 5,000/t and for 12-25mm rebar at INR 4,000/t. As per SteelMint analysis, the producers are getting lower margins at present due to higher production costs amidst rising coal prices. The re-rollers are looking forward to recovering from these insufficient margins by raising gauge parity.
