HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 1200 ($15/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 300 ($4/t) in Raipur d-o-d today. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 46,000/t ($563/t) exw-Mandi and INR 45,100/t ($552/t) exw-Raipur. Prices are excluding GST at 18%. Prices fell by INR 400/t ($5/t) w-o-w in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 100/t ($18/t) in Raipur.
