HR strip (patra) prices dropped by INR 700/t ($9/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 600/t ($8/t) in Raipur on 23 Aug’22. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 52,500/t ($657/t) exw-Mandi and INR 51,500/t ($645/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
