HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 800/t ($10/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 200/t ($3/t) in Raipur on 7 July despite sluggish sales. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 54,300/t ($686/t) exw-Mandi and INR 53,400/t ($675/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
