HR strip (patra) price inched up by INR 200/t ($3/t) d-o-d in key markets on 1 Sept’22 despite poor demand. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 50,700/t ($637/t) exw-Raipur and exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%.
On monthly basis, prices fell by INR 2,800/t ($35/t) in Raipur and by INR 3,300/t ($41/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh.
