HR strip (patra) prices were down by INR 200/t ($3/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh while prices in Raipur remained unchanged on 9 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices are assessed at INR 55,500/t ($700/t) exw-Mandi and INR 54,400/t ($686/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%. On a weekly basis, prices have increased by INR 1,500/t ($20/t) in Mandi and INR 1,200/t ($15/t) in Raipur.
