SteelMint’s assessment for HR-plate (E250, 5-10mm) prices declined marginally by INR 300/t w-o-w to INR 57,000-58,000/t while that of E250, 20-40mm was at INR 60,500-61,500/t, down INR 100/t. Prices are on an exy-Mumbai basis, excluding GST @ 18%. Wind turbine manufacturers, OEMs and high speed railway manufacturers are procuring actively at present and steel producers are enjoying good order loads which supported trade prices, informed sources.
