Domestic HR plate prices have dropped by INR 1,500/t ($20/t) this week. Buyers remain cautious and are closely watching the market amid continuous decline in trade reference prices in the domestic market as well as prices in overseas markets.
SteelMint’s assessment for HR plate (E250, 5-10mm) stands at INR 66,500-67,500/t ($880-893/t) exy-Mumbai. Prices are exclusive of GST @18%.
