India: Hindustan Zinc’s output drops by over 4% on-month in Feb’22

Zinc production by Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) decreased on month in Feb’22, as per latest data from the Union Ministry of Mines.
HZL produced 65,000 t of zinc in Feb, down 4.41% m-o-m as against 68,000 t in Jan.
On a y-o-y basis, production fell by 8.97% compared with 59,650 t in Feb’21.
HZL accounts for 78% of the zinc market share in India.
