Hindustan Copper resumed ore production at Kolihan Copper Mine in its Khetri complex, Rajasthan, following a suspension after a fatal lift accident in May 2024.The mine, with reserves of approximately 20.64 mnt at 1.35% copper, is part of HCL’s vertically integrated operation. HCL plans to expand the mine’s capacity to 1.5 mnt per annum to meet India’s growing copper demand.
